Merry Christmas Eve

Tom, LB, and I are spending Xmas 2013 in Port Angeles--our first in town, actually--but we have some wonderful guests to help us celebrate: Uncle Donald and Uncle John.

To celebrate Xmas Eve, we took an evening walk to "oohh" and "aaah" over some nearby light displays.
And then we headed home where LB got into her jammies, and we carried on a Lovejoy family tradition: the Christmas Eve reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas. Everyone took a turn reading a stanza.
And finally, before heading to bed, LB put out a snack for Santa and his reindeer. The cookies are for Santa, and LB said that Santa would have to take the carrots up the chimney to the reindeer (since they probably wouldn't fit down the chimney).
