I can't believe that another Christmas has come and gone. Now that she's four, Lilybeth's day was filled with magic, including waking up to find what Santa had left in her stocking. Santa obviously thinks that LB is becoming a big girl because he brought her her own scissors set, which pleased her immensely.
She even put them to practice while opening her presents from G, Grandpa, and GG (who got to see it all on Skype).
Thank you for the tiara!
Next up, a fox cap from Uncle John and Uncle Donald.
Lilybeth helped Uncle Donald open his present.
It was a coffee mug! And she explained to him how to put in the coffee and drink it.
Yay! GoldieBlox!
And another present for Uncle Donald.
Next, she explained to Uncle John how to use his new French press.
Thank you for the Merida doll, Cousin Daisy! And thank you for all the lovely clothes as well!
Uncle Donald received this great cap from Uncle John. Now, we can all call Donald "The Captain."
Yay! Her first Legos!
And playing Legos with Papa.
Playing GoldieBlox with Uncle Donald.
Showing her dance moves off to Uncle John. She was dancing to "What Does the Fox Say?"
Taking her Christmas scooter for a test drive.
I made two desserts for Christmas dinner: a pumpkin bread pudding with chocolate chips . . .
and a double-layered, pumpkin pie cheesecake. They were both delicious (though the cheesecake went faster).
The cheesecake-time dance!
That little tongue was ready for some cheesecake!
A sweet ending to a sweet day.
And this is a picture from tonight. Uncle John read the book that GG gave LB for Christmas. I think that everyone enjoyed the story!
