Every night at the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance Homestead is story time. I read a book, Papa reads a book, and Lilybeth reads one. Then it's time for Lilybeth to brush her teeth, pick out a nightlight, and listen to music while having a cuddle.
During story time yesterday, she read a book on the iPad.
Recently, I've started reading chapter books to Lilybeth. We read a chapter each night. Our first one was titled Joey Goes to Sea about a cat aboard a ship. Lilybeth loved it! Here's our second one, Bless This Mouse, about a group of mice that lives in a church. LB picked it out at the library but seems less interested in it than our first book. She keeps asking when we'll get to the end of it, though she doesn't seem to want me to stop reading it.
