Before leaving La Push this morning, we decided to hike down to Second Beach. It's a 1.4 mile hike round trip, and I'm proud to say that Miss LB walked the entire thing herself, and it was not an easy hike. It was very misty . . .
and very muddy with lots of stairs, . . .

We made it to the beach!
On the way back to PA, we stopped at a little eatery on Highway 101, Granny's Cafe, where we had sandwiches and a milkshake, . . .
and visited with the resident pets, including Blue, who is a big fan of ice cream, and . . .
the donkey Junebug with her friends, the goats.
At home in PA, the sun was shining bright and it was some good car-washing weather.
