The photo above is of Daisy the Baby Bird, the first toy LB purchased with her chore money. Technically, she had only earned a dollar, and Daisy cost $15, but Miss LB had a $10 bill sent from Grandpa, plus a few spare dollars probably also given by her grandparents, and so she had the necessary funds to purchase the toy. Lilybeth chose the name Daisy, no doubt after her little cousin. :) Daisy has already been up to plenty of mischief around the house, mostly eating things she shouldn't and squawking loudly.
This week, we also received a package from Grandma and Grandpa Lovejoy, which included this snake game. She did enjoy the game, despite the look on her face.
And finally, here's Miss LB waiting on the front steps for our friends to arrive for dinner. She accessorized her outfit with her knit hat and mittens. Very stylish!
