Today, LB said that she wanted to make a craft for Baby Daisy. So we got down the craft box, and she created this googly-eyed and glittered mermaid. As you can see, she put a lot of effort into it, and when she was done, she announced confidently that Baby Daisy is going to love it. I think it is sort of funny and creepy, and I have no doubt that Daisy will find it very interesting, as will Heidi and Sam when it shows up at their house.
Earlier this evening, I went to check if it were dry, and I couldn't find it. I worried that it had become conscious and wandered away, but LB had simply put it into her block drawer for safekeeping. Clearly you wouldn't want to leave something this awesome laying around.
Its really sweet that LB is thinking of us and I love that she does crafts... but man... that thing is creepy. I am sure Daisy will like it tho!
