Happy Happy Leap Year!

Today, the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance had the best Leap Day any family could ask for because we got to welcome our new little niece: Daisy Ann. Congrats to my sister and her husband. Daisy is just so sweet. We wish we could give her a cuddle, but she's in Ottawa and we're in WA, and so it will be a few months before we get to meet her. Lilybeth and I are planning a trip in June, and June just can't get here fast enough. We love you, Daisy!

We took a couple of pictures this evening, hoping to express our utter happiness about Miss Daisy's arrival. Lilybeth said that her horse was also very happy about Daisy and so wanted to be in the picture.

In other, less exciting news, Lilybeth has been up to her usual business of wearing shirts as skirts:

She said she was making this funny face for Grandpa.
And here's a little advertisement for the course I'm teaching in the spring. It's awesome being "Professor Helen Lovejoy"!

  1. Congrats to your sister and family on a Leap Day baby! (And may I sign up for your course Professor Lovejoy? Sounds like fun!)
