Pressies!

This week Ms. LB received TWO! packages in the mail. The first was from Grandma and Grandpa Lovejoy and contained all sorts of fabulous prizes like a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse pencil case and some Valentine's Day Peeps. I think in the photo below LB is contemplating how many of the peeps she can get away with eating before Mama and Papa hide them!

LB also got a package from her Great Auntie Dawn who lives in Illinois. This package contained many wonderful things like some adorable new outfits, some little books, new socks, a very soft blankie, a stuffed bear, and a little stuffed penguin. Of course it also contained lots of V-day candy. LB was very happy with all of this!Reading her new book from Auntie Dawn.


Thank you so much to G, Grandpa, and Auntie for the wonderful gifts. The Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance really does appreciate all that you do!

Here are a couple of other photos taken during the week. One evening LB stuffed her little kitten into her shirt with its head sticking out and walked around the house like this, telling Tom and me to "Pat the kitty." Funny little games this kid comes up with!


We had some friends over for dinner on Saturday night, and I was looking through the cupboard for all of our wine glasses when I realized that we only have four left from three different sets! I brought the set of big red wine glasses before we left CA. Now there are only two left. Annie brought us a set of the littlest glasses when she was here in September. There's only one of those left. I can't believe we've broken so many glasses in the last few months. LB hasn't broken any; it's all Tom and Helen.
And finally, Superbowl Sunday was last week. I didn't watch the game, but Tom and LB did. Here's LB demonstrating what is meant by "Touchdown!"
