Ann and Ted returned to Australia on Saturday, and we have definitely been missing them. We tried to cheer ourselves up on Sunday with a special family breakfast of banana & chocolate chip pancakes and strawberry & chocolate chip pancakes. We also had raspberries as Miss LB is so happily displaying.LB also took the opportunity to practice using her little knife:
Afterwards, we drove to Salt Creek, a little recreation area along the water about 20-minutes west of here. Some co-workers told me it is a great place to take kids, and it certainly looks like it must be, but by the time we arrived, the rain was pouring down.
Deer don't mind the rain:
Yum!
Very economical post. A picture is worth a thousand words! xoxo
