Today, we enjoyed a Sunday family outing to the Dungenesse Recreation Area, a little state park along the beach about 15 minutes south of Port Angeles. There were some beautiful views from the top, and it was a little 3/4 mile walk down to the beach from there. You can also walk another 4.5 miles along a spit to see the New Dungenesse Lighthouse. It looks like a beautiful walk and a beautiful lighthouse, but we weren't interested in during a 9-mile round trip with Miss LB. Maybe when G visits in October, Tom and I can give it a try.Overall, though, we are loving Port Angeles and our new home!
