Lovely Surprises

What did we find on our front steps this afternoon? A big pink package from G for Miss Lilybeth Mary! Sweet G! The young lady was so pleased with her surprise. She's covering her eyes in the above photo because she said she didn't want any help opening her present, and so she's hiding from the rest of us. If she is closing her eyes, we can't see her.

And what was in the box? Some drawings by G. Lilybeth knew exactly what this picture was of and when she pulled it out of the box she said, "Oh! Sasquatch!"
What else is in the box?
New cups!
A pup! Lilybeth named the pup "Wheelbarrow" after her favorite friend at G's house. She said, "I have a Wheelbarrow!"
A book about pups!
I asked Lilybeth to make a "thank-you-G" face to show G, but instead she just looked sad. I think she was thinking about her G and missing her.
"I want to play and color with my G."
G also sent LB this new outfit, and since we were going out for dinner, LB got to try it on. It looked beautiful.
We all went out to Michael's Place, which is a great little place for a nice dinner out in PA.
The crayons came in the little bucket, but LB found some new uses for said bucket. A drum, a hat,
and a telephone.
