Well, hello! Welcome to Lovejoy-Fordham 365, a hopefully year-long, daily record of my adventures in baby raisin' and diss writin'. I decided to start this photo-blog because LB's baby days are whisking by, and I've been so focused on writing my dissertation that I haven't made any real keepsakes to commemorate the time. She'll be 8 months in about two weeks, and--as I'm sure many parents will say--these last eight months have included some of the brightest, most inspiring and, well, just plain dazzling days of my life, but they have also been a time filled with self-doubt, second-guesses, a messy house, and some very sore and tired boobies.
But I don't want this blog just to be a record of LB's days but a journal of the daily misadventures in the life and love of the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance as we make our slow and steady way through my last year of graduate school and through some of the first moments of LB's life. It will hopefully be a year filled not with too many cranky Mondays but with many many blissful and happy days.
