For lunch, I had the tomato pesto quiche, and LB ate some of Mama's homemade food--pureed broccoli, zucchini, and potatoes. And for dessert she had one of her favorites: a puree of apricots and apples.
Like me, Crystal is also working on her dissertation, has a little one, and has a spouse/partner who works full time. It's nice to know that there's such a remarkable woman riding along in the same boat as me. As you can guess, we had plenty to commiserate about. Though of course we had plenty of joy to share regarding our little ones. I think at one point, we were both going "Nom nom nom!" trying to eat the babies' hands (and they have such sweet little hands). Well, we can't be expected to talk theory all the time.
I better go. It's make-your-own pizza night here at the Lovejoy-Fordhams.
