Museum of Glass

Back in April when the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance was enjoying a visit with G, we stopped in Tacoma at the Museum of Glass, and LB practiced her artistic skills by photographing the art and her family. Above is a sculpture by Martin Blank, Fluent Steps.

Below I'm standing in front of some of Chihuly's sketches.
Some of Chihuly's glass work, as photographed by LB.

On display during our visit were lots of little glass sculptures. The sculptures were conceptualized and designed by kids and then created by the museum's glass artists. LB loved them!
A pig snake in water!
A rainbow and alien creature?
A self-portrait by the photographer.
LB and G enjoyed the glass-blowing demonstration.
Some outdoor photography by LB. I especially like this one of Uncle John and The Crystal Tower, another Chihuly sculpture.

Another piece by Chihuly.
