We had a festive Thanksgiving weekend in Port Angeles. John and some of his AmeriCorps colleagues joined us for the long weekend.
Here are the highlights, including Tom and his beautiful turkey.
Lilybeth was so happy to see her uncle!
This is her Uncle-John's-here-and-he's-going-to-play-cats face.
One of our house guests gave LB a carabiner so that she could hook her water bottle to herself. However, LB found something much more exciting to wear: cats!
In a little feat of engineering, she realized that she had to put necklaces around the cats so that she could hook them to herself.
She took the cats to this year's Teddy Bear Tea Party, where she met a reindeer,
Ariel,
Olaf,
Elsa and Anna,
and Belle.
She also shared a little Xmas magic with her friends, and . . .
we enjoyed another creative Xmas tree display.
Later that evening, she had some quiet conversations with Uncle John, and . . .
he taught her how to thumb wrestle.
