Awesome is LB's current favorite word. Except, when she says it, it comes out more like, "Awwwwww-some," sort of Southern Californian valley girl style. Today, many things were awesome, including this year's Xmas tree.
The day we get the Xmas tree has to be one of my favorite days of the year. I love decorating the tree, switching on the lights, and just welcoming the holidays.
Except for putting the lights, LB did all the decorating this year.
And, as is yearly tradition, we welcomed a couple new ornaments. This one was purchased on our September trip to Seattle and the Chihuly museum.
We also have an Aussie crocodile (alligator?) to commemorate our summer trip to Oz. Thank you for this one, Auntie Em!
Speaking of Oz, LB and Papa enjoyed a little Skype with the family from downunder. We'll be seeing Nannie and Poppie in January!
