It's nearly the end of the quarter here at PC (only one week left of school!!), and so I've been busy grading, grading, grading. But there have been some exciting things going on in the Lovejoy-Fordham Alliance. First and foremost, we have had some unbelievably happy news: on March 15th, Tom's sister, Em, and her husband, Rob, welcomed their new son, Jacob Teddie. He's a little blondie just like our Lilybeth, and he is just as sweet and as cute as can be. We can't wait to meet him and to see his beautiful sister again. Lilybeth is completely in love with her new little cousin and has been talking about him constantly. She says things like, "He's so tall. He's so big. He jumps so high!" Those are quite some feats for a baby who's less than a week old, but LB is definitely enamored of him.
Actually, wee Jacob is all the exciting news I have to announce. The rest of it is just the day-to-day business of life here in Port Angeles. For example, LB has discovered a new favorite game, playing library.
Here she is picking out some books from our bookshelves,

and when she's done selecting her books, she puts them on the blue chair, pushes the chair over to the couch, slides each of the books along the back of the couch, and ta-da! The books have been checked out!

I've been missing my little darling so much at work, but it's wonderful to come home to her and see her happy face when I get there. It's nice to be so missed during the day! The other day, as I was walking up the front path to the door, she swung the door open, and called out to me, "Mama! You're home! Mama, I love you so much honey!" You can't ask for a better welcome home than that!
