So Long, Weekend

I can't believe another weekend has come and gone, and I wasted nearly the entire thing working on my dissertation. At least there are not many more weekends to be wasted on it: only 5 more until the complete rough draft is due (and we'll be spending one of those camping) and then only four more after that until my chair signs off on it and says it is done. After that, there will be a month for my other two committee members to read it and sign off.

While I was holed up on the 2nd floor of UCR's library, LB was having a fine weekend hanging out with Grandma and Papa. On Saturday, she went for a little shop-shop with G, and returned with some new clothes, including this little Elmo shirt
and a blue one featuring Cookie Monster. These are clearly her new favorite tops. When we all went out to dinner on Saturday night, she wore the Cookie Monster shirt and refused to put her sweater on over it even though it was definitely cool.

And here she is at Sunday night's dinner, finishing up a piece of corn, the first corn on the cob she ate by herself.
I hope everyone has a good week. We're taking Miss LB to Disneyland on Thursday (we figure we better get a trip in before we move to WA), so look out for pics of that!
