2nd Home

Tom and I are having a very quiet Saturday night because Miss Lilybeth is staying another week at Grandma and Grandpa's, her 2nd home. She was there last weekend and was going to stay around Mama and Papa's this weekend, but on Friday G asked if LB might just stay Saturday night so that they could take her to the rabbit show on Saturday and to the Victorville Fair on Sunday. When I asked LB if she wanted to stay the night at Grandma and Grandpa's so that she could go and see the rabbits, cows, sheep, chickens, horses, and the Fair's dog circus, she made this face . . .
Just kidding! But the look of unadulterated joy on LB's face in the above picture just makes me so happy.

LB had a great day at the rabbit show. G, who has plenty of experience taking kids to rabbit shows, had quite the set up for her.
Of course when she got tired of being in her play area, she could always look at the rabbits and guinea pigs. This guinea pig's golden locks are rivaling LB's.
LB has become a good little napper, and even took her mid-day snooze amid all the rabbit show noise.

Tom and I enjoyed our extra-date night. Once we're up in WA with no G nearby, our date nights will be few and far between.
