I've gotten so behind on my blogging this year, but I have earnest plans to catch up. Not just for any readers out there, but also for myself. As LB grows up, I love looking back over the pictures and revisiting all those happy times together. How fortunate and filled our lives have been!
And we're lucky that we get visits from family, like our beloved G. While she was here in April, we visited the Olympic Game Farm. The farm, located in Sequim, was originally used for filming by Walt Disney Studios (which apparently shot quite a few outdoor, animal-themed films in the early days). The farm hasn't been used by the studio since 1972, though filming still takes place on the grounds and some of the animals still find themselves landing roles, but mostly now the farm welcomes "in-need wildlife" in search of a new home (and as permitted by WA State law).
LB loved meeting the animals and giving them some bread.
Enjoy the pictures!
