We've been having all sorts of visitors in Port Angeles these last two weeks. First, Nannie and Poppie arrived from Australia (via Boston, via New York, via Ireland) and stayed for two lovely weeks.
Hollywood Beach also had its own guest: a female elephant seal! Read more about it here!
Miss LB had a great time visiting the seal. The seal was blocked off by the tape so she wouldn't be disturbed.

The seal was staying for a month to molt (thus her patchy color). She hardly moved when we saw her, and she definitely smelled funky!
And later in the evening, we went to Gather-and-Craft at a local restaurant. LB has her art and I had my book and wine. Perfection (except that we were missing our friends who usually join us!)
She drew some cats (of course!)
