Unkies!

It wouldn't be summer without a visit from the uncles, Donald and John. Once again, we had a fab time and took their visit as a reason to get out and about on the Olympic Peninsula. Above, Uncle Donald enjoys the tide pools, and below, LB surveys Hurricane Ridge.

During this visit, we also took the opportunity to visit a new spot: Port Gamble. P.G. is a little town on the shores of Hood Canal that looks like it belongs in New England. We took a stroll among the little houses and . . .
the local cemetery, which has lots of graves from the 1800s.
LB also admired the local dahlia garden and
 
had a tough decision to make.
