Stopover in California

Lilybeth and I have been enjoying some summer fun, international style. This year, we finally visited the Aussies again, after four years. Last time we visited Australia, LB was just under one. In fact, we celebrated an early first birthday for her last time we were in Brisbane. See the photos here!

Now that we live in Washington, we had to fly down to LAX to catch a plane to Brisbane International. We couldn't fly to So Cal without a stopover to visit G, GG, and Grandpa.

In the photo at the top, LB enjoys a cool evening at the Lovejoy Homestead, and below, she visits the Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary in Phelan.

There were lots of rescued tigers.
LB was too busy looking at the tigers to take a photo with Grandpa.
LB took this photo of my favorite animal at the sanctuary. This is one relaxed creature!
She also took this photo of an animal that is either a llama or an alpaca.
Back at G's house, she enjoyed some Skyping with Daisy, and
. . . a leisurely ride on the pallet swing, designed and constructed by G.
