LB is growing by leaps and bounds, and after a visit to the salon this afternoon, she has the big girl haircut to prove it! The hairdresser took off several inches of blond locks to create this little bob.
After her haircut, LB and I had another mission: to find her a big girl bed. It was time for the crib/toddler bed to go (or at least to get packed up and put into the garage)!
LB had her heart set on a Lightening McQueen race car bed. Unfortunately for her, her practical parents had their eyes and wallets set on a little twin bed with a simple wooden headboard. After I bought the mattress and headboard, she whinged and whined in the car. And after we went to the store and I let her pick out some new Lightening McQueen bedsheets and a blanket, she still cried about the bed. However, once the sheets and blankets were on the bed and she had a few big jumps on it, she decided that she actually loves her new bed.
