Together Time

These first few photos document a little hike LB and Tom took in the Olympic National Park. It's so gorgeous in there. I've run by a couple of times, but no hiking for me yet.

The cutest thing on the Olympic Peninsula:
And here I am enjoying my Saturday afternoon with my little girl. She was pretending to be a "tiny baby" (her words, not mine), and so she wanted to cuddle on the couch in her blanket and suck on a pacifier that belongs to one of her dolls. And yes, my hair is looking a bit darker. I got tired of the blond highlights and so decided to try something on the other end of the color spectrum.
And, finally, this morning, LB and I cooked up a patch of pumpkin cookies, a Lovejoy family Thanksgiving tradition. I had a great time cooking with LB this morning. Tom stayed in bed reading until 10:30 and so it was a perfect opportunity for some mother-daughter time.

I gave LB a mixing bowl and let her put a few ingredients in it (mostly oats and flour). LB said, "I make cookies for G. My G like cookies." Yes she does.
LB decided to mix the measuring cups and spatula in with the rest of the "batter." She certainly is making some yummy cookies for her G!
